USN F-35C Lightning II

The United States Navy F-35C demonstration team takes pleasure in visiting Iwakuni, Japan, in 2026. The team based out of Naval Air Station (NAS) Lemoore, California, showcases the world’s only 5th generation carrier-based fighter, and has likewise chosen Iwakuni as their sole performance location outside the U.S. Witness its agility, advanced maneuvers, internal weapons bay, simulated carrier breaks, and more. The F-35C has also called Iwakuni home since November 2024 upon joining Carrier Air Wing (CVW) FIVE.

米海軍のF-35Cデモチームも、２０２６年に日本の岩国にやってきます。カリフォルニア州レムーア海軍航空基地に本拠地を構えるデモチームは、世界で他にない、第五世代の空母艦載機を擁して登場します。こちらもアメリカ国外で見られる唯一の場所に岩国を選んでくれました。最新鋭の俊敏性、進化した機動性能の数々、内側に格納できるウェポンベイ、空母への着艦を想定してのブレイクなど、どの見どころも必見です。ステルス戦闘機F-35Cは２０２４年１１月より、第５空母航空団の一翼として岩国基地に展開しています。
